Embark is a six-month professional development program designed for emerging and established leaders across NDC distributor and manufacturer partner organizations. The program builds self-awareness, strengthens core leadership skills, and provides practical tools to help participants expand their influence, grow their teams, and drive stronger business results. Embark also fosters meaningful connections and collaboration across the healthcare supply chain. Participants learn through proven coaching and learning strategies, guided by certified facilitators and experienced coaches. Quarterly in-person sessions are held in Nashville, TN, creating a focused, high-impact environment that supports leadership growth while balancing real-world business demands.

What It Offers

This program helps leaders build self-awareness, connect with peers, and apply practical tools for real-world impact. Participants strengthen communication, influence, and strategic focus to drive growth across their organizations.

Participants gain greater insight into their leadership style and behavioral tendencies, including how these affect influence, communication and team dynamics. Participants will complete a DISC self-assessment which will help guide them in their coaching sessions and development planning.

Interactive sessions with a mixed cohort of leaders from across the healthcare distribution and supplier landscape foster a shared experience of support and collaboration between like-minded leaders. The mixed cohort learning also brings valuable networking and relationship building, enhanced learning retention, and a sense of belonging and community.

Focused coaching exercises will support in translating material into meaningful, real-world changes. Sessions will include Leading Self, Leading Others, Leading a Function, and Leading an Organization.

Frameworks, language, and models that leaders can share with their teams to foster organizational growth. Leadership competency areas of focus to tie into each session.
